Jennifer joined the Planned Financial Services team in 2023 as a client liaison. She is committed to ensuring a consistently exceptional client experience as part of a team focused on exceeding expectations through the delivery of timely, relevant and proactive investment and wealth management services tailored to each client’s specific needs and preferences.
Jennifer has broad experience in the financial and legal services sectors. Before joining Planned Financial Services, she spent seven years as a senior financial analyst at Cleveland-based AML RightSource where she led a team of 20 analysts focused on providing technology-based compliance and fraud prevention solutions to financial services institutions. Prior to that, she spent 13 years at Powers & Powers in Berea, Ohio as a legal assistant in the firm’s probate practice.
She is a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and is a Notary Public for the State of Ohio.
The Personal Me
Jennifer was born in Cleveland and grew up in Springfield, Ohio. She credits her parents for instilling values centered around family and community. From a young age, she participated in volunteer activities with her parents for the American Cancer Society and their local food pantry, and later volunteered as a candy striper for Springfield’s Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Hospital. She is currently a volunteer case worker for The American Red Cross Northern Ohio Region – Disaster Recovery Services, where she assists in providing critical support for displaced families.
DIY projects loom large among Jennifer’s favorite pastimes. Her talents range from flooring, wall, door, and paneled wood ceiling installations to light wiring and plumbing, deck and porch refinishing, and building cornices and garden boxes. Her passion for gardening and landscaping dates back to her days as a 4-H member. She grows a broad variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers at her Brook Park, Ohio home, where she lives with her Shih Tzu named Cricket.
Jennifer has a grown daughter, Caitlin, who currently lives and works in California.
Little known fact: Following high school, Jennifer spent several years in Germany working for Estee Lauder/Clinique, now The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc.
